| today is the craziest day ever. it started out bad. i was dreading having to take my last final. i probably didn't do very well in it. but oh well. it's over. then i found out that anderson cooper is broadcasting from san francisco today. he went live at 7, so i'm home watching the show, trying to find out where exactly he is. all i know is that he's at the bottom of the golden gate bridge. all of a sudden, i decided to go and see if i can meet him. i looked up where he might be at on google map. picked up my book, a camera, and just left.
the rest is history.
so yeah. the first person who asked for an autograph, his sharpie didn't work. and when anderson was asking around his crew to see if someone had a good sharpie, so i volunteered mine. so i basically had to stay till i was the last one to get an autograph and picture. but it was worth it i guess.
after then, got back to davis. went to little prague. for the first time. it was way fun. met people i've never met before. saw people i haven't seen in forever, and chilled with people who i hang out with most now. it was a great night. also, 3 people came up to me seperately and said... "are you anson? i've heard a lot about you"................. um how do you respond to that?
o well. all in all, it was a great day.

| wow, ok it's been a while since i last updated. finals are hectic, but i'm pretty much done with two already. didn't sleep last night, just finished 2 take homes and about to turn them in. it feels nice. half done, 2 more to go, then it's summer. woot
the afterglow had its first real concerts this past week. we opened for the spokes and the lounge lizards friday and saturday of last week. it went really well and people really liked us. which was amazing. i'm so glad i finally found an acappella group. can't wait for more concerts and stuff.
just downloaded the pilot episode of a new nbc show 'windfall'. it was actually really good. it's being described as a drama that's pretty much the same as 'lost' except with no supernatural plotlines. it's about 20 people who were at a party together and decided to buy 20 lottery tickets, that if they won, they'd split the money. and they did. and the show is about their lives after the win and how the money changed them. it's very interesting.
i've been listening to 3 cds non stop lately. one of them is old. i've been listening to the pearl harbor soundtrack because i've been reading so much and i can't really concentrate if there's lyrics. i swear, that is the best instrumental soundtrack ever. i still get chills listening to it. and the two other cds i've been listening to are the new keane, and nelly furtado cds. wow. those are so freaking good it's ridiculous.
there's just been so much stuff i wanted to update on, now i've totally forgot most of them, it'll come to me though. more later...

top chef. yay for harold! i also liked that when they told the viewers to text who they think should win top chef, when they revealed the results, 92% said harold, and only 8% said tiffany. that 8% is probably tiffany's lesbian fan base. pretty sad. haha

| so finally it's wednesday again. tonight is a HUGE night for television. yeah, call me a nerd, whatever. but american idol, lost, and top chef all have their finales tonight. i can't wait.
but american idol is on at 8-10. i have rehearsal for the afterglow... so i won't be able to watch it. i watched last night. neither katharine or taylor were very good. but i tried to vote last night and couldn't get through till 12:45. so i voted like 30 times for katherine and i'm just hoping for the best. because taylor just can't win, it's not right. he's fugly for one, and he looks like he's 50. katharine must win. i love her.
lost. 9-11 tonight. so tonight is the last lost night before september. i'm gonna miss this. but tonight's episode is suppose to be absolutely insane. if people thought last year's finale was a big cliffhanger, this one is suppose to blow that one out of the water. which means i'll probably update again tonight and be very pissed off. we're suppose to find out why the plane crashed too. which probably means it's going to be a half assed explanation that brings up more questions than answers. argh i'm really anxious.

so yesterday i got anderson cooper's memoir in the mail. and i haven't been able to put it down. this guy is amazing. he's pretty much the only news show i would watch now. i also watched him on oprah yesterday. his story is so sad. i can't wait to finish the book. i really want to meet him. i want to be his friend. haha.

| i'm so tired of school. every week, it seems like a lot of the midterms and papers just went through, so i should have a break right? WRONG! there's more and more. i have a 10 page research paper due monday, a midterm on tuesday and an optional paper that would bring up my dismal art history midterm grade due also tuesday. and i have 8 hours of work on monday. i'm going to die. i can't wait to hear from the apple store at arden, because i am really looking forward to quitting my jobs. i really still want to train for double deck, but i'm not sure i can last that long. ikea is getting lame, well it got lame the second i became a sales. but now it's just lamer.
less than a month before the quarter is over. it's close, but not close enough. i'm jealous of the people who are done already.
